Side note, but Reid Boucher has 37 goals in 44 games. - _Zippy_
Didn't include that because Sarnia didn't play last night. If they did, I'd point out his stats. |

I know, someone brought it up somewhere else, so I figured I mentioned it. I think second in the OHL right now is around 28, I don't know if anyone's cracked 30 besides Boucher. |

Do you know how many games he's played? I know Boucher played more than everyone because he didn't make the WJC team... |

Todd, outstanding write-up as always. You really know the game well. I agree with everything you wrote. Which leads to the question about Larsson and the rest of the D.
The Zid-Sal pair has excellent chemistry and DeBoer obviously likes to use them as the shutdown pair.
Greene-Fayne are steady.
Volch-Tallinder is a tough combo because Tallinder can lug the puck and they both take up so much space.
Tallinder has always been up and down but when he's good...he's very, very good, such as last night.
Larsson has to play and we do need another forward so what's the next move?
Also, Butler has played well in the AHL apparently. Any idea when/if we might see him? |

Jenner has played in 35 games. He'd likely be ahead of Boucher if Jenner had not made Team Canada. Boucher is still having a marvellous season, though. |

Thanks for the kind words. I really appreciate it.
The next move will likely be moving a defenseman for a forward, who they move or get remains to be seen.
Larsson is an NHL defenseman and he needs to play in the NHL. How they make room for him, I don't know, but he needs to play.
It'll be interesting to watch but at some point something has to happen. |

I can see Zajac being a Selke candidate if he stays healthy this year. The system and the shutdown checking role are going to suit him very well. |

Solid win, but they definitely played it too close considering they dominated the first 40.

Well, at least you can say you are better than the Islanders and the Islanders mish mash defense and you only score 2 goals on them.
The Devils are world beaters.
I understand the excitement though but you have to realize who you barely got by last night. |

I'm glad you watched the game to see how absolutely terrible we were. Amazing they even let us play in the league with the caliber of play we show every night. Bettman should just dissolve the team already. |

Todd you just answer the question yourself. Trading one of our defenseman will help to accomplish at least 2 things. The room for Larsson and help up front. |

Lol. I saw that last night too. Whatever! Must be tough watching the game when you don't know what you're looking at. |
